DNA ACTING WORKSHOPS

DNA Workshops

We run a number of workshops aimed at Actors at all stages of their development. We offer a service that is thorough, relevant, detailed and interactive, in a constructive, supportive and welcoming environment, where the sole objective is to help you identify and make progress towards your objectives.

BEGINNERS ACTING TO CAMERA (WEEKEND WORKSHOP) :This intensive weekend course is delivered in a way that allows the inexperienced screen actor to develop and progress as well as those that have some screen acting experience.

ACTING TO CAMERA (ADVANCED) :This advanced class will challenge the competent screen artist to display their skill and truly explore their ability. The course is structured in a way that will lead to the creation of a short film where each of you will play a character. You will participate in the development of that character, creating their manner, history, dialogue, and motivation.

BUILDING BLOCKS :The DNA PR Building Blocks class is aimed at new and inexperienced actors who are looking to pursue a career as a professional actor.

ACTING TO CAMERA (INDUSTRY CLASS) :A practical analysis of the vocation of screen acting for the professional actor. There will be regular attendance for a variety of industry professionals, including, Agents, Casting Directors, Film Makers and Producers.

NATURALISM AND REALISM IN PERFORMANCE :This class is structured to help develop a stronger ability to create truthful, multi-dimensional and sustainable characters for stage and screen performance. Exploring the techniques of Stanislavski, Strasberg, Grotowski and Artaud, the actors will learn to feel what immersing in a character and the emotional mindset of that character can do to affect their performance.

There is lots of hard work to be done, but we do have fun along the way, and your time with us will be one that we know will benefit you, and that will inspire you to new heights in your craft, and your career.
