The DNA PR Building Blocks class is aimed at new and inexperienced actors who are looking to pursue a career as a professional actor.
If you never acted before, or have just done some school plays or a bit of amateur dramatics, we can help you develop the mentality and the promotional material needed to help you raise profile and start to build your experience, contacts and career.
We will assist and guide you in:
- Creating your Actors CV.
- Organising professional head-shots.
- Identifying career and development objectives.
- Profile raising.
- Awareness of technique.
- Developing depth in performance.
- Understanding how the Industry works.
All our classes are run by working industry professionals. Standards that we work to are relevant to current demands, and outside professionals often come in to run specialist workshops or assess potential. We work hard to maintain a positive and constructive environment within the workshop space, encouraging you to form strong working relationships with your peers as well as the tutor's.
We run a program of regular performance opportunities that can be utilised as a means of showcasing yourself to Agents and Casting Directors, and of course, we support you in contacting people and encouraging them to attend.
This twelve week process guarantee’s to help you develop a more focused attitude towards your acting career and a clearer understanding of what being an Actor is all about.
As with all DNA Performance Resource Workshops, The class builds towards performances for the public and an opportunity to invite the Industry in to see you work. Classes are £12 per session, there are reductions available for early payment and concessions available dependant on status.
